Camping in Kuwait

Heavy canvas tents in the deserts of Kuwait are a common sight. Many Kuwaitis camp in the desert as a means of reconnecting with their heritage and each other.

Al Muthana Kuwait Bookshop Kuwait's most comprehensive bookstore. Very popular with the expat community. Many of the other bookstores hold primarily books written in Arabic.

Never leave home without your passport and visa. The police and possibly immigration folks set up random road blocks frequently. **Leave plenty of time to get to your destination. These stops can hold you up for hours.
